It is famous for housing the most beautiful Reclining Buddha or Phra Buddhasaiyas, with 46 meters in length and 15 meters in height. Located just besides Wat Pho is the Royal Grand Palace and the Emerald Buddha. Inside the palace is Wat Prakaew, the most beautiful and significant temple in Thailand with intricate design and decoration. Jim Thompson House - A legendary Thai-style house, founded by James H.W. Thompson, a success entrepreneur in developing the silk industry in Thailand. The house was built by teak woods with Thai architectural style, surrounded by lush green trees and garden, making the house a serene place with jungle landscape. You will find Jim Thomson's collection of fine arts and antiques, such as the Buddist scultures, traditional Thai paintings, picture gallery, Burmese collection, porcelainware ranging from Chinese, Sukhothai and Suwankalok, to Lopburi-Khmer and Benjaong. 

A house belonging to the late James H.W. Thompson who came to Thailand as an officer in the US force during World War II. The name Jim Thompson became synonymous with Thai silk. He had arranged for dismantling of ancient teak houses from various places and reassembled it on the bank of Sansap Canal in Bangkok. Inside the house is a wide collection of impressive range of art works with tastefully displayed Asian art, including Buddha images, paintings, ceramics, and antique furnitures. The living areas have been preserved as they were when Thompson once lived. Jim Thompson mysteriously disappeared during a visit to theCameron Highlands in Malaysia in 1967 and thus his legend began.

Suan Pakkard Palace Museum or "Palace of the Lettuce Garden", opened to public in 1959, is the former royal residence consisted of 8 traditional Thai teakwood houses and an elegant garden. The palace is a combination of fine arts with huge collection of ancient artifacts. The Lacquer Pavillion, originally built in Ayuthaya since mid-17th century, was dismantled and rebuilt at the palace compound. Collection of Ban Chiang artifacts, dating back to 3600 BC, portrays cultural heritage with its potteries, iron and bronze tools, glass ornaments. Next is the Marsi Gallery that exhibits the contemporary arts. Inside the palace also houses the Royal Barge named "Koo Kung Bayam"...

The best time to visit is from 07:00 a.m - 11:00 a.m. The vendors, wearing traditional farmer dresses and hats, are mostly local peasants that bring in their things to sell on their rowing boats. The River of Kings. The River of Kings. You will see some of the oldest buildings in Bangkok, including some dating to the earliest Portuguese settlements in the capital. Experience the bustle of river traffic and commerce in this vital artery that separates the old capital from the new. 

Services. During our candle-lit romantic and sedate cruise along the Chao Phraya River, traditional kim music (Thai xylophone) is played gently in the background. Several non-intrusive short sets of Thai classical dancing are interspersed through the meal. Our safety equipment is inspected and maintained regularly, and a life jacket is provided under every seat. We have an unblemished thirtyfive-year safety record. Every guest receives an illustrated map & history booklet of the river. 

Traditional Local Cuisine. Our captain will lead you to Rama 8 Bridge and on the way back you can relax yourself with our Latin style music while feel the wind breeze on your face on our open air deck. After all the pleasure on pampening yourself, it is time to pick up your photo taken on cruise.
