Inside the house is a wide collection of impressive range of art works with tastefully displayed Asian art, including Buddha images, paintings, ceramics, and antique furnitures. Suan Pakkard Palace Museum or "Palace of the Lettuce Garden", opened to public in 1959, is the former royal residence consisted of 8 traditional Thai teakwood houses and an elegant garden. The Lacquer Pavillion, originally built in Ayuthaya since mid-17th century, was dismantled and rebuilt at the palace compound. Services. During our candle-lit romantic and sedate cruise along the Chao Phraya River, traditional kim music (Thai xylophone) is played gently in the background. Several non-intrusive short sets of Thai classical dancing are interspersed through the meal. Our safety equipment is inspected and maintained regularly, and a life jacket is provided under every seat. We have an unblemished thirtyfive-year safety record. Every guest receives an illustrated map & history booklet of the river.
